ClimateGate: the World Responds
0 Comments | Posted by pontificus in Climate Change, Economy
No matter what side of the issue one might be on, this is serious stuff. And the debate is now turning from how badly the public has been misled, to whether or not someone should face criminal consequences. This isn’t surprising, as it would seem quite logical that actions taken knowingly to deceive for financial gain would be covered by fraud statutes.

Oops. The Emails Leaked (aka Global Warming Lipstick)
0 Comments | Posted by admin in Climate Change, Economy
Interesting development in the continuing saga of the Church of Man Made Global Warming (CMMGW).
It seems that some of the most vocal proponents of the concept of man made global warming were adding quite a thick layer of lipstick on their statistics and numbers to make them fit what they would like to say about the climate.
While this has been long recognized by those who are rightfully critical of the claims made by global warming advocates, it is only now that some leaked emails provide detail into the process by which the lipstick was applied, and the number of layers that some thought were needed.

That Climate Change Thing…

Climate Change (formerly known as Global Warming) isn’t quite done in the political arena yet.
One would think that the the global warming predictions — and the so-called models they are based on — were sufficiently busted through actual observations of the weather and solid science1 that there would be no further discussion of laws relying on them. But things aren’t so simple when money becomes part of the discussion.
We could still see Cap and Tax (called Cap and Trade by some) enacted, and create yet another job and economy killer for the United States. Visit NoCapAndTrade.com for details.
